UX Akron is a non-profit user experience (UX) design meetup group that serves the Akron/Canton/Youngstown areas of Ohio.
I've served as an assistant organizer for multiple years, helping to plan event agendas, bring in speakers and even present myself.
I am now working on coordinating the marketing and communications materials used to promote the group. This includes communication via our website and MeetUp.com, as well as across various social networks, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. One of our other board members developed the logo and branding, which I've helped integrate across each platform.
